Purpose is the first single-barrel expression from Republic Restoratives, an extremely limited run of just 100 barrels.

• 24 barrels were made by Kelvin Cooperage and aged in Washington DC (now sold out).

• 76 barrels were made by Independent Stave Company and aged in Kentucky.

Bottled at 100 proof, each barrel showcases distinct characteristics of its maturation.

Nosing & Tasting

Nose: Baking spice (clove, cinnamon, nutmeg), hint of dill, orange zest, light vanilla
Palate: Black pepper, cherry, citrus peel, caramel, toasted oak
Finish: Long, dry spice, with hints of cocoa or dark chocolate

Sip it neat, or use as a bold base for a Manhattan or Old Pal.

• Is the engraving permanent? Yes—etched directly into the glass, not a sticker.
