Estate Bourbon
Estate Bourbon
Born in D.C. Built From the Ground Up.
Estate is the result of years spent aging our own bourbon, distilled from scratch in the heart of D.C.
We start with heirloom corn and locally grown wheat from Wade’s Mill- Virginia’s oldest working grist mill. Twice distilled through over 200 square feet of copper, this spirit honors the grain, not the gimmicks.
Aged in Seguin Moreau white oak barrels- air-dried for 24 months and toasted to medium, given heavy char- then left to mature in the raw, natural temperature swings of our D.C. rickhouse. No HVAC. Just the living heartbeat of the city shaping every barrel.
To capture complexity and deliver consistency, we use the Solera method—layering barrels of different ages to let the best parts shine.
TASTING NOTES
A nose that demands attention—vanilla extract, toasted pecan, marshmallow root.
On the palate: powdered cocoa, dark cherry, a breath of smoke from a winter hearth.
The finish is long, layered, and defiant—caramel, spice, and one last ribbon of vanilla.
This is Estate. From scratch. From D.C. For those who don’t wait for permission.
